A lot of people end up taking in rescue squirrels and then wonder why they are not growing at the rate that they should be growing at. They also notice a little webbed area in between the arms and legs. These are flying squirrels, and believe it or not they have to be cared for differently. The biggest red flag that you have one is going to be the size though. They are quite a bit smaller than the normal baby squirrels. If this is the case and you do have a flying squirrel or liter of them, your next step should be to contact a wildlife center as soon as possible. They may be able to take in the squirrel or at least give you the proper resources to do it yourself.
